After an extended break away from publicly practicing art after the 2024 holiday season, Spencer has returned to actively working. On Spencer’s personal blog is the post “2026 Announcement Bulletin Board”, where Spencer shares the highlights of his art practice, most meaningful to him, in a way that makes them easily available to peruse. Most recently, in January, Spencer has offered an open letter imploring for the protection of North Island College’s Fine Arts Department, which is facing risk of closure, made available on his personal blog.
